With the App Store Volume Purchase Program, your educational institution can buy Earworms apps in volume using a Volume Voucher, credit card, or PCard, then distribute the apps to multiple devices.* If your institution is tax exempt, you will not be charged sales tax when you purchase apps. The program also allows us to offer special pricing for purchases of 20 apps or more.

Participating in the Program
To participate in the program, you or someone from your educational institution can enroll to become a Program Manager. The Program Manager will set up and manage Program Facilitators using provided management tools. A Program Facilitator is anyone in your organization who will buy codes for apps and then distribute the codes to end users.

How the Program Works

Program Facilitators search for and purchase apps.
At the App Store Volume Purchase Program portal, your institution’s Program Facilitators search for and purchase apps in volume. Apps can be purchased in the following ways:
- With credit from Volume Vouchers in the Program Facilitator’s account.

Program Facilitators receive codes and distribute to end users.
Program Facilitators log in to the App Store Volume Purchase Program portal and download a spreadsheet containing app-specific codes — one code per app purchased. Codes can be mailed to end users (one code per end user), or they can be placed on an internal website for end users to download.

Any K-12 institution or district or any accredited, degree-granting higher education institution in the U.S. is eligible to participate. Note: Apple reserves the right to determine eligibility. Campus bookstores and other retail institutions are not eligible. Volume Vouchers cannot be resold.
